Grants for Impacted Families

We are pleased to offer direct grants to eligible impacted families to help ease the financial burdens of a severe diagnosis like FOXG1 syndrome. Eligible families can apply for funding in the following areas:

• Equipment purchases (e.g., wheelchairs, gait trainers, standers, strollers, specialized beds, adaptive communication devices, etc.)

• Payment of medical expenses, including travel costs and therapy costs

• Payments to caregivers

To be eligible, you must:

• Be a primary caregiver of a patient with FOXG1 syndrome in New York State. (We hope to expand into other jurisdictions soon; this is a funding requirement of the donor who made this stipend program possible.)

• Have bona fide expenses that fit into one of the categories above.
